Class Founder, Dave Ely
has been designed to help racers at all levels achieve better results. Our first school in 2012 was a complete sellout. We listened to your suggestions and ideas and have developed an unbelievable class for 2013! For less than the cost of the latest "get fast quick" gadget, we will give you the knowledge, tips and tricks to improve your program. We've created an easy to understand format that will be beneficial to the beginnning or veteran racer. The six hour class will focus on everything from the basics, to the "secrets" that Sammy Swindell has developed and used to be one of the greatest racers in the history of motorsports. We offer a no-nonsense approach in teaching the fundamentals of the sport. We focus on the key areas and offer clean, concise explanations of the material. When I began my racing career twenty-five years ago, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a successful family of racers that taught me the proper ways to build safe, fast racecars. Not everyone is as lucky as me. Now Sammy and I want to provide you with that same winning foundation to help you have a more successful racing program. Some of the topics to be covered in the class are:

In addition to our classroom lesson we offer an extensive question and answer session. Each student will receive a textbook that not only provides the outline of the class but also includes set up sheets, weekly checklists and manufacturer's/retailer's coupons to help you become a better racer. 1. We aren't trying to sell you anything! There are a lot of great products available for you to use in your racing program. We recognize that everyone has their own preferences and choices. We give you information that will help you regardless of your product choices. Our staff will give you the suggestions to help make your program better with the components you have. Other schools want to tell you that if you buy their "magic set of shocks", this new trick arm or the newest, most expensive "you fill in the blank", your program will magically improve. It doesn't work that way. We see racers winning with everything. We help you get fast with what you have. However, if you want our opinion on something, we'll be more than happy to tell you the manufacturers we've had success with.
2. We have one instructor share their thoughts, techniques and ideas. Having a lot of speakers talking about the same thing only causes confusion. I've been to schools where one speaker suggests a certain adjustment to achieve a desired result and the next speaker does something wildly different to achieve the same result. Sounds confusing, doesn't it? Think of it this way. Have five bakers bake you a chocolate cake. I'll bet they'll all taste great and everyone of them will use a different recipe! Now imagine each one of them gave you the measurements for only two of their ingrediants and you made a chocolate cake with bits of all the recipes. Chances are it won't be very good! That's what you get when five people offer suggestions to help your program.
3. We hire a well rounded expert that has great experience in a multitude of conditions and racetracks. How's a driver going to answer a question about how to run the bottom if he's a guy who only runs the cushion? How's he going to help you if he can't help himself? Can someone improve your program if they have only ever worked with one brand of chassis and it's not the one you use? Is the instructor able to tell you how to fix a handling problem and how to keep a sponsor happy? We put months of thought into choosing a teacher well rounded in all aspects of the sport.
